Plant life – Seeds and Germination 5 - 6 yrs

Earth is called as a green planet due to presence of plants on it. Without plants, there can be no environment and human life on this earth. Their presence is inevitable for clean air, food and water. Hence it is important for children to understand the basics of plant life – this becomes the foundation on which they will learn more about plant life and its more complex functions. Using a combination of apps, and activities this lesson can be made very exciting for children. They will see the genesis of life in front of their eyes and be able to appreciate life with a completely new perspective.

    Activity: Class Plant

    This activity can be done in the class room or at home. Parents will help their kids to observe the plant grow from a seed to a plant. How it changes its shape, what all parts grow, what all things are required for a seed to grow.
